Shelter From the Storm

Shelter From the Storm is a Madison, WI based all breed dog and cat rescue that our Executive Director started in 2005 in response to the overwhelming number of animals being euthanized in shelters.

Our mission is to reduce the euthanasia rate of healthy and adoptable animals, and improve the lives of companion animals and their people. We accomplish our mission through the dedication and hard work of our volunteers who spend their time socializing with our animals and providing enrichment.
