Who We Are
The mission of the Humane Society of Jefferson County is to care for the lost, homeless and abused animals of Jefferson County, help place them in forever homes, and work to inspire kinder and more humane communities.
What We Do
- Adopt animals into loving homes through our main facility and partnerships with PetSmart West in Madison and Pet Supplies Plus in Whitewater
- Host community outreach events and fundraising events throughout the year
- No-cost community cat program (TNR)
- Kids summer camp
- Educational presentations at schools, other nonprofits, etc.
