Friends Of Pheasant Branch Conservancy

Formed 20 years ago to preserve the natural habitat area around Pheasant Branch. Continue to advocate for the protection and restoration of the Conservancy in its natural state, and for community appreciation of its unique features. Education efforts are vast! Education Program: We serve 1,500 students in grades K-12 each year for curriculum-linked field trips in the Conservancy. We also hold monthly Conservancy Day Programs for the public on a wide variety of topics. We developed and host four high school service-learning programs and develop programs for elders as well. We welcome naturalist volunteers, committee members and volunteer Conservancy Day Program leaders. Restoration and Management Program: We have regularly scheduled property restoration and management work days in the Pheasant Branch Conservancy. Work days are on the 1st Wed. and 3rd Sat of every month, March through December. We also have special work days. A message or reminder is emailed to volunteers on our special email list.
To restore, protect and promote the Pheasant Branch Conservancy and watershed for today and tomorrow.
