The Center for Community Stewardship

The Center for Community Stewardship (C4CS) brings people together and facilitates their conversations to develop dreams and realize actions for their community. Our mission is to energize and facilitate individuals and groups to be active in matters that affect their lives, cultivating collaborative conversations about visions and activities that can make their community a more wonderful place.

We provide fiscal sponsorship for small grassroots projects so that they can recieve funding from a donor to a particular project that otherwise has no legal entity or structure to receiving the funding. We are often a first step as small organizations seek to develop and eventually become their own non-profit. We also work to nurture thoughtful, rational and productive deliberation.
