Historic Blooming Grove Historical Society

We are the historical society that preserves and promotes the history of Blooming Grove Township which now includes the City of Monona and Madison's southeast side. 

Collect, research & write about the history of the east side of Madison, City of Monona and Township of Blooming Grove.

Manage the Nathaniel and Harriet Dean House, 4718 Monona Dr., as an historic Victorian house museum.

Give tours of the Victorian house museum to visitors and school children.

Produce 5 Back Porch concerts in the summer and 3 history programs at the Monona Public Library in the winter.
