This year’s Madison Turkey Trot is destined to be one of the BEST EVER! After a year of serious nesting, some things never change… like the reckless abandon of trotting turkeys on the morning of the most gluttonous day of our American heritage, Thanksgiving!
Proceeds from the Madison Turkey Trot go directly to support our amazing UCP programs and client services. We earn dollars from participants in this 5K event, but we are also required to provide a minimum number of volunteers to help during the event. WE NEED YOU!
So, this year, while the bird is in the oven, won’t you join us for a flock of gobbling, wobbling fun? Please consider sharing your time as a volunteer assisting other turkeys as they stroll, trot or roll for UCP! The fun is all done by 10:30am, leaving plenty of time for you to get home to wiggle your wattle and toss your snood with your family! All toms, hens, jakes and jennies are welcomed to volunteer – there will be fun for everyone!
