Help Habitat for Humanity with coverage of the ReStore Donation Hotline! The ReStore Donation Hotline schedules free pick-ups for donations of furniture, appliances, and other home improvement items, as well as answering incoming questions about donating.
Donation Hotline Representatives make the ReStore a place donors want to come back and donate to. They maintain high customer satisfaction with their exceptional problem-solving and conversational skills.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones, interacting with donors in a friendly and helpful manner
- Assist donors by answering screening questions about potential donations
- Log all donor interactions
- Respond to and compose emails for donors
Qualifications
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changes in programming
Commitment
- One shift per week, or every other week, for a minimum of 3 months
- Shifts run from 9am-1pm, Mondays
- We ask that volunteers commit to volunteering for a full shift
