Groups of 10-15 volunteers will be needed to help decorate Christmas trees for the annual holiday decorating the week of Nov. 28 at Oakwood Village University Woods. In addition, groups that can help for decorating would be requested to make the commitment to help undecorate/put away Christmas trees in early January after the holiday season.
Groups are needed to help decorate between Nov. 29 and Dec. 1, 2022 and help undecorate between Jan. 3 and 5 or possibly between Jan. 9 and 11, 2023. Groups would need to help from 8:30/9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for decorating and undecorating, but can be scheduled to do it on a day during the designated date ranges that will work best to volunteer. This assistance will help get Oakwood common areas decorated for the holiday season for the residents' and community benefit, and help staff with undecorating work after the holiday season.
Interested volunteer groups will need to follow Oakwood's ongoing mask requirement and show proof of COVID vaccination due to the Oakwood community setting.
