Be a Guardian Angel by Becoming a Volunteer Guardian!!
Description: A frail, older adult living in Dane County needs your help!
A volunteer guardian is appointed to be a decision maker and advocate for someone who is not able to do so for themselves.
Requirements:
- Visit on a monthly basis;
- Have 2-6 hours per month;
- Advocate for, authorize and monitor supportive services;
- Have a desire to develop a one-to-one caring relationship with an older adult;
- Work cooperatively with professionals, caregivers and family members;
- Be at least 26 years of age & a 2 year commitment.
