The Urban League of Greater Madison excited to introduce the Southwest Madison Employment Center-- the City of Madison's first community-based employment and training center. There will be a grand opening ceremony that takes place from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm with networking, food, remarks, ribbon cutting, and building tours. We will hear from individuals such as Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway, Alder Barbara McKinney, Urban League CEO Ruben Anthony, Jr., Miss Black USA 2019—TeKema Balentine, and others!

 

This is where you come in. We are seeking individuals to volunteer from 10:30 am-1:30 pm to assist us in food service, prep, and monitoring. Come make a different in the community, and get to know our new center while you’re there!
