Latinos United for College Education Scholarships (LUCES) is seeking to add members to its Board of Directors. LUCES is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) that is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. LUCES exists to promote and advocate for the higher educational advancement of Latinos in the state of Wisconsin by providing merit and need based scholarships. Available positions include:
- Fund Development Committee - Develop and implement fundraising strategies to expand the amount of money and scholarships that LUCES can give out annually.
- Scholarship Committee - Serve on the scholarship committee that determines who will be the annual LUCES recipients.
- Secretary - Maintain notes of all LUCES meetings and maintain LUCES records.
