We at LGBT Books to Prisoners depend on book donations from the community to continue to do our work. We are always in need of SOFTCOVER, GOOD CONDITION (preferably NEW or NEWISH) books in the following categories:

- DICTIONARIES (English, preferably softcover; large-print welcome)
- ALMANACS
- DRAWING AND ART (drawing how-to + books with photos of art; no nudity)
- BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN LITERATURE (fiction and nonfiction)
- LATINX LITERATURE (fiction and nonfiction)
- NATIVE/FIRST NATIONS (history + fiction)
- URBAN FICTION
- MYTHOLOGY, OCCULT, AND ALTERNATIVE SPIRITUALITY
- WICCA
- MAKEUP GUIDES
- THRILLER
- MYSTERY
- HORROR
- FITNESS (e.g. yoga, body-weight exercises; no martial arts)
- SELF-HELP (general interest)
- PSYCHOLOGY (general)
- SPANISH-LANGUAGE (nonfiction + fiction)
- LANGUAGE LEARNING (beginning)
- PROGRAMMING (new; no out-of-date books, please)
- MATH (high school level)
- LARGE PRINT FICTION (everything but romance)
