Over 320 athletes will be competing in this year’s Regional Athletics Meet May 4th! They will be running, walking, jumping, and throwing at Oregon High School. These athletes will be competing for a chance to show off their skills at the 2019 Summer Games in June at UW-Stevens Point. Come on out and cheer on our athletes!
We are looking for volunteers to help throughout the day from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Volunteer shifts are broken down to 8:00-10:30am, 9:00-1:00pm, and 12:30-4:00pm. If you are interested in volunteering all day please contact the tournament director.
Volunteer positions include:
- Set-up: Helping get the track and field events ready for opening ceremony and competition.
- Tournament Central: Helping register volunteers and direct incoming questions.
- Awards: Get awards ribbons prepared and hand out to athletes.
- Field Events: Help measure, record, and escort at Standing/Running Long Jumps, Shot Put, and Softball Throw/Mini Javelin.
- Track: Help time the races and escort athletes from staging to the track to the awards area.
- Souvenirs: Help sell a variety of souvenirs to athletes and spectators.
