Support Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes as they return to the playing field! Athletes from across Southwestern Wisconsin will compete in a modified regional Track & Field Competition. Special Olympics Wisconsin provides athletic opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy while participating in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with the community.

Volunteer Positions Include:
- Track Timer: Help athletes line up for their races and use hand timers to take and record times for racers in an assigned lane.
- Jump Pit Official: Help athletes get set for standing and running long jump and measure distance jumped. Record final scores for athletes.
- Throwing Event Official: Help athletes get set for turbo jav and softball throw, measure distance thrown and retrieve equipment in between athletes. Record final scores for athletes.
- Athlete Escort: Athlete Escorts will be assigned to one group per shift to guide them through the entire track meet. Escorts will help athlete groups move from station to station, and stage athletes before and after each race or field event.
