Description

The Dane County Farmers’ Market is proud to participate in the EBT/FoodShare program. Good nutrition is important for all of us, regardless of age, income level, or circumstance. And there is no better way to good nutrition and good health than through locally-grown and raised, natural products.

Every Saturday, the Dane County Farmers' Market (DCFM) relies on volunteers to help answer customer questions and process SNAP/EBT transactions. All volunteers are expected to: treat all customers with respect, be willing to learn the in's and out's of the farmers' market, and support the vendors and customers to the best of their ability.

The DCFM provides all the training necessary to be a successful volunteer, however an interest in working with the public and an attention to detail are required for volunteers.

This is an amazing volunteer opportunity where you can learn more about the market, meet new people and start off your weekend right!

If this sounds interesting- we want to meet you! Respond to this post or email info@dcfm.org for more information and our volunteer schedule. We're especially looking for volunteers who are interested in helping out multiple times a season for multiple seasons!
