Volunteer: Front Desk/Administrative Volunteer

Operation Fresh Start empowers emerging adults on a path to self-sufficiency through education, mentoring, and employment training.

Operation Fresh Start is looking for volunteers to work at their front desk! No prior experience necessary.

We are looking for volunteers who can sit at the front desk from 3:15-5:15pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Volunteers may take one shift or multiple! This is an on-going volunteer opportunity. Must be 18 years or older and pass a background check.

Volunteer Duties:

Greet visitorsOpen the door (via remote button behind the front desk)Answer phone calls and take messages

Operation Fresh Start is in need of in-kind items to serve program needs. The following is a list of new or gently used items we could use. 

 

Water bottles Quality pair of socks (to wear in a pair of work boots) Disposable poncho Wallet Work gloves

 

Other items in need: 

Clothing:  

Steel toe work boots (new or gently used) wool socks (new) Carhart type pants, coveralls, bibs (new or gently used) Leather belts 

Winter needs: 

Hand-warmers

Spring Needs: 

Ponchos  Bug Spray

Direct Service Needs: 

Loppers Hand pruners Shovels  latex gloves  5-Gallon Coolers Sunscreen

Program Needs:

Thank you cards  Gift cards, any denomination, to Culvers, McDonald's or any local coffee shops. 

 

All items can be dropped off at our office Mon-Thursday 8am-5pm.
