Heartland Hospice is seeking compassionate Vigil Volunteers to provide a comforting presence for patients during their final hours of life. The role of a Vigil Volunteer is simple yet incredibly meaningful: to be there. When patients are nearing the end of life and may not have family or loved ones present, Vigil Volunteers offer companionship, comfort, and peace at the bedside. Volunteers are the HEART of Heartland Hospice. A gentle presence, a reassuring smile, a quiet moment of companionship. These small acts can provide tremendous comfort to both patients and families during one of life's most important transitions. Heartland Hospice is seeking dedicated Administrative Volunteers to help support our care teams and ensure they can focus on what matters most: providing exceptional care and comfort to patients and families. Our team members rely on strong administrative support to stay in the field serving patients. Your efforts behind the scenes help make compassionate care possible.
