Northside Early Childhood Zone

The Northside Early Childhood Zone supports families who are pregnant or have a child under the age of 5, and live in the attendance areas of Gompers, Lindbergh, Lakeview, or Mendota Elementary Schools, or the Brentwood Neighborhood. The NECZ offers home visiting services plus additional resources that assist families with their goals, focused around creating environments for children to thrive in.

The NECZ offers three free home visiting programs focus on caregiver support, pregnancy support, positive caregiver-child relationships, child development, and connection to other community resources. When families are enrolled in a home visiting program, they have seamless access to providers that assist with mental health, stable housing, and educational and employment goals.
