Who We Are

Mission: We identify students at risk for dyslexia at an early age.

We provide our students with science-based reading solutions to prevent reading failure.

We equip educators with the tools and training they need to successfully teach reading.

Vision: Our goal is to open the first school in Wisconsin specifically focused on the struggling reader, including those with dyslexia.

We teach at-risk students learn to read, write and spell. We take the guesswork out of reading so students read with confidence.

We will systematically eradicate the literacy crisis.

Brief History: In 2020, Kim Feller-Janus founded the non-profit, Feller School, to focus on teaching dyslexic, ADHD and struggling readers how to read with confidence and without guessing. The Feller School goal is to improve reading test scores in Wisconsin and across the nation. As a community, we can prevent reading failure and help reduce the percentage of fourth graders reading below proficiency from 65% to 0%.

What We Do

We teach dyslexic, ADHD and struggling readers how to read with confidence and without guessing. We offer after-school small group instruction, private tutoring, Homework Club, Summer Camp, parent support, teacher training, and networking to share the reading science - how we learn to read, what happens when we struggle, and how we can fix it.
