Lake View Hill Park

We are a group of volunteers who live near the park on the northside who cherish this little county park gem in Madison city limits. We range from a group interested in native ecosystem restoration, creating bird, bat, pollinator habitats, sharing the unique history of Lake View Hill, and general outdoor enthusiasts.

We are currently restoring oak savanna on the hill overlooking Lake Mendota on Madison’s Northside. Opportunities include invasive species removal, native species establishment, historical research, social media/tech support, and community outreach.
