Solace Friends, Inc
Solace Friends are caring people who believe that we all deserve to live our final days in a comfortable home where we are cared for. We make that happen through Solace Home a four bedroom adult family home in Madison in which we provide support for individuals who are both terminally ill and either homeless or housing insecure. The vision for Solace Friends began nearly a decade ago when Dr. Ann Catlett was discharging a patient and learned that they had nowhere to go. Dr. Catlett felt that our community could do better and thus began the process to develop Solace Friends.
Solace Friends provides a caring home to those who are terminally ill and either homeless or housing insecure. We work with area hospice organizations to support these individuals by providing the care that might otherwise be provided by families and friends during their last days of life.
