The Paul Rusk Resource Desk is located in the lobby of the Public Safety Building. The purpose of the Resource Desk is to help bridge the gap for services to our community members. The Desk tries to help find the necessary resources to help individuals find what they need. The Coordination and overseeing of the Desk is by the Dane County Sheriff's Office Staff and Community Volunteers.
What We Do
The Paul Rusk Resource Desk is staffed by Volunteers who are friendly, approachable, helpful and nonjudgemental. The Desk provides services to newly released jail residents, family members of residents and the general public. The Desk resources include printed materials of community resources, clothing, toiletries as well as a smile. We help answer questions from the public or help find the answers. We try to make a positive difference for all those need our services.
