First Congregational United Church Of Christ

First Congregational is a community of people who share a commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 1840, our congregation began with nine townspeople. We incorporated as a church in 1914. Today we create opportunities for face to face mission with people who represent increasingly diverse parts of society. We actively seek out ways to be generous and to assist individual members in using all of their gifts in mission work. First Congregational Church has provided a Free Community Thanksgiving Meal since 1991.

First Congregational Church is a congregation of the United Church of Christ. We are a teaching, mission-minded, ecumenical, and Open and Affirming Church. We provide all people with a place to worship, to learn, and to serve in the community and other parts of the world. No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome at First Congregational.
