Neighborhood House Community Center, Inc.

Neighborhood House was established in 1916 and is the oldest community center in Madison.
The mission of Neighborhood House has always been to provide residents with resources and a place for meeting with friends! Neighborhood House Community Center provides social, educational and recreational programs to improve the quality of our community. We occupy a unique place in the community between UW and residential neighborhoods.
Neighborhood House offers programs for youth and adults as well as robust social services. Volunteers can support our food programs (meals, pantry, produce handouts), older adult programs, programming for people with disabilities, afterschool and summer camp for kids, legal clinic, computer lab, and more!
We invite people to visit our center and explore how you might find a niche here. We are open to new programs and new ideas.
Neighborhood House Community Center provides a community space for young people, parents, families, low-income individuals, and senior citizens to come together and to improve their lives, families and community.
