Madison International Partners /Christ Presbyterian Church

Madison International Partners is a non-profit started by Christ Presbyterian Church in 2008 under the name of International Outreach Ministry. The organization has been serving internationals from all over the world, living, studying, or working in the Madison areas and fostering cross-cultural exchanges between Americans and internationals. Our programs are designed to respond to the many and diverse needs of international students during their stay in Madison. They offer multiple opportunities and varied levels of participation for internationals and for members of the Madison community: We provide opportunity to make new friends and connection with people from all over the world. We also help international improve their English skills by matching them up with native English speakers for conversation and friendship purpose. Our programs include: Airport pick ups; Temporary housing; ESL Conversation Partners: Friendship Partners" English Conversation Time, every Friday from 6 to 8 pm: Tour of Madison for new international students and their families; Global Spouse Connection, and Field Trips to discover Wisconsin.
The mission of Madison International Partners is to offer an in-depth cross-cultural experience to Americans and internationals living, studying, and working in Madison. Through our various programs we create conditions for international experience sharing and better understanding among people of different races, cultures, religions, and social backgrounds. We are committed to help internationals and family members experience and enjoy American culture, make significant friendships, and adjust to life in the US. We also offer Americans the opportunity to be exposed to foreign culture without living home.
