Join the festivities surrounding the Friends of the Arboretum Native Plant Sale!
Several agile, sturdy people are needed to carry trees, shrubs, and smaller plants from the sale tent to customer vehicles, and to move plants from storage stations to the plant sale tables. This requires bending, squatting, and lifting up to 35 pounds safely. Other duties may include "plant sitting," which is watching over customers' plants as they continue shopping.
Service groups can participate in this event with advance notice.
There will be a site supervisor on hand, and refreshments will be provided to volunteers.
