For several years, the Marine Toys for Tots program has made it their mission to distribute new toys, books and other gifts to Dane County families in need – so that everyone may experience the joy of the season. For the past several years, in order to better determine which families are most in need, they’ve partnered with United Way of Dane County to implement a new toy distribution process through community partners.
With that, we need volunteers to help sort and organize toys that will be delivered to each community partner hosting a Toys for Tots distribution. Volunteers will be given a list of items to reference as they organize toys for each site. Shifts are divided into 2 hour increments and food will be provided at each shift. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water as you will be moving throughout the the entire time.
