Our afterschool program offers academic support in the form of homework completion, grade checking and goal setting, and individualized tutoring on Tuesday afternoons, 5:15-5:45pm.
Kids are the most successful when everyone has adult support during this time and they feel a connection with their tutor.
We are currently seeking BIPOC volunteer tutors who have strong math skills and can commit to supporting 1-2 youth every Tuesday. Many of our kids are in 7th or 8th grade and could greatly benefit from targeted academic support and guidance as they move into high school.
