Schumacher Farm Park is home to 10+ acres of prairie and woodland. Clearing invasive species is an ongoing project and we need people willing to lead small groups of volunteers with our efforts. You would be trained. We use loppers and hand tools. This is a great volunteer opportunity for people who love the outdoors and love seeing the fruits of their labors unfold before their eyes. It's satisfying work.
RESTRICTIONS: Healthy bodies are a must. We have tools, but you are always welcome to bring your own. Just be sure to label them clearly.
