Soon the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and Overture Center for the Arts spaces will transform into a magical winter wonderland filled with handmade art, crafts, and edibles -- all available for sale to the public at our 48th annual MMoCA Art & Gift Fair fundraiser (formerly known as the Holiday Art Fair). It takes place Saturday, November 17, and Sunday, November 18, and coincides with Shine On Madison.
Be the face of Madison Museum of Contemporary Art during the MMoCA Art & Gift Fair when you...
- Serve as an exhibiting artist liaison for one of the fair's many rooms throughout MMoCA and the Overture Center
- Stamp attendee “Fair Passports”
- Answer artist and attendee questions and hand out materials as needed
- Watch over artists' booths if they need a short break
- Watch for attendee wristbands and ask those without wristbands to proceed to an entrance to purchase their fair tickets
Volunteers should check in at the MMoCA Lecture Hall 5-10 minutes before their shift officially begins. Enter the Lecture Hall from the MMoCA Lobby on State Street and find the volunteer check-in table.
Volunteers enjoy an insider's view of the fair and receive a ticket for free admission!
