You will join a crew of volunteers tending the Prospect Gardens, located along the Southwest Bike/Pedestrian Path at the Prospect Avenue ramps, about three blocks west of Camp Randall. The gardens feature native plants and perennials. Weeding is the primary task. Your volunteering will contribute to the beautification of the Path, maintaining habitat for Monarch Butterflies and assist in preventing water runoff. Come dressed for gardening and bring water. Tools, neighborliness and a treat will be provided.
