United Way of Dane County is excited to support local food pantries by upcycling unused Seasons of Caring t-shirts into reusable bags for food and other essential supplies. T-shirt bags are extremely easy to create and a great way to reduce waste!
On Monday, April 19 we invite all registered volunteers to pick up their T-Shirt Kits from United Way of Dane County (2059 Atwood Ave. Madison 53704) between 11:00 - 1:00 PM.
On Friday, April 23 volunteers are asked to return their finished bags to United Way of Dane County between the same hours of 11:00 - 1:00 PM.
Each kit will include all the needed supplies to make 30 bags, as well as the step-by-step instructions you see below on how to take a simple t-shirt and make it into a fully functional bag!
