LIFT Dane seeks a creative person who understands and enjoys social media to help LIFT keep its social media content relevant on its website, Facebook and Linked In. Primary responsibilities include finding and creating content for LIFT’s social media platforms but the volunteer will be encouraged to do as much as he/she/they would like, including designing print and digital graphics; producing information flyers, and editing short videos for social media;
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write and schedule social media posts;
- Use pictures and videos of program participants, volunteers and day-to-day activities as content for the website or social media platforms;
- Grow online social networks by increasing interactions with participants, local organizations, groups and individuals who might be interested in LIFT’s work;
- Create posts and flyers to promote LIFT’s programs and activities;
Qualifications:
- Committed to LIFT Dane’s mission and vision;
- Some knowledge of Canva
- Some experience in social media management;
- Some experience in graphic design;
- Good understanding of the internet and social media marketing best practices
- Relational, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- A cooperative, team-spirit approach;
- Basic computer skills
