The Goodman Community Center Fritz Food Pantry helps hundreds of households with groceries and personal care items every week. Volunteers are needed to support customers as they shop and help them take groceries out to their cars.
Ideal volunteers are friendly, like a fast paced environment, and are attentive to details. You should be comfortable being on your feet for the entire shift on our concrete floors. You will be engaging with customers and ensuring the pantry policies are being followed. Come prepared to be inside and outside at least part of your shift.
When:
Wednesday, 5:30 - 8:15 pm
Where: Goodman Community Center; 149 Waubesa Street
Starts: As soon as you can start and complete orientation
We are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least 6 months of service, weekly or every other week.
