Special Olympics WI, Inc. serves children 2 yrs. to 18 yrs. with intellectual disabilities, as part of our Unified Programs.
The Young Athletes Program launched Unified Readers. Unified Readers expands the Young Athletes Program by promoting inclusion, individual growth, nutritional guidance, and friendship through young literature.
The Unified Readers Curriculum focuses primarily on ages 2 yrs. -10yrs. Books are provided to Young Athletes, in home-based and center-based models. This initiative is the most effective way for participants to benefit in the gym, the classroom, and at the dinner table.
