Celebrate National Spaghetti Day with Habitat for Humanity! What's better than a warm spaghetti lunch while building safe, decent, and affordable homes in your community?
All participants who build with us on this day at either our Oregon, Sun Prairie, or southeast Madison sites will enjoy a free spaghetti lunch.
No prior experience is needed - all the tools and training are available on site. Tasks may include framing, truss work, siding, etc. Work will likely be outdoors.
Volunteers must be 16 or older and willing to be trained. Physical Requirements: Be able to stand for a prolonged duration of time and be able to walk, bend, and/or squat; be able to walk on uneven terrain; be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
