Madison Birthday Boost

Madison Birthday Boost is a local nonprofit that helps Madison families celebrate their children’s birthdays, even during times of financial hardship. We provide birthday boxes filled with party supplies, gifts, and thoughtful touches that let each child feel special. We work closely with local volunteers and referral partners to reach families right here in our community. Founded in 2025, we are committed to bringing joy and connection to Madison children, one birthday at a time.

Madison Birthday Boost helps families in our community celebrate their children’s birthdays with dignity, joy, and ease. We provide personalized birthday boxes filled with everything a caregiver needs to throw a thoughtful party for a child they love. Each box includes themed decorations, tableware, cupcakes and candles, a party game, favors for six guests, a personalized banner, and gift for the child. We include wrapping supplies and a blank card so the caregiver can present the gift as their own. Every detail is tailored to the child’s interests and packed in a cheerful, ready-to-go box. We serve children ages 1 to 12 in Madison by working with local social workers, case managers, and agency staff who know the families best. Referrals come from organizations such as the Salvation Army, Sankofa, Rise Wisconsin, YWCA, DAIS, and The Road Home. The referring professional helps the caregiver choose a party theme and suggest a gift, then submits the request. Once we receive it, our volunteers sign up to shop, bake, or craft each part of the box. When the box is ready, the referring partner picks it up and delivers it to the caregiver, who hosts the birthday celebration with everything they need.
