Do you love bringing joy to kids? We’re looking for a volunteer Site Leader to help provide birthday boxes for children in need in the Madison area. If you enjoy organizing and want a meaningful way to give back to your community, this could be a great fit for you.
As a Site Leader, you will:

Host a drop-off and pick-up location at your home (front porch or similar space) or business

Coordinate birthday box requests with local agencies

Set up volunteer sign-ups online and invite helpers

Coordinate and assemble 5–15 birthday boxes each week

Make completed boxes available for agency pick-up
We currently have active sites at 3506 Country Grove Dr. and 6229 Dominion Dr, so we’re looking to add a leader in a different area to reach more families and social workers. Our ideal location would be in the SASY neighborhood, but we’re flexible within the east or near-east side.
Time commitment: about 5–10 hours per week. We provide full guidance, materials, and ongoing support.
This is a volunteer role that makes a real difference for families in our community.

Madison Birthday Boost is a local nonprofit that helps children from families facing financial hardship feel celebrated on their birthdays. Each birthday box includes everything needed for a fun celebration, including decorations, gifts, party supplies, and a game or activity, so every child can experience the joy and confidence that come with being celebrated.
